COLORECTAL CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

COLORECTAL CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

We kicked off Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month in March by participating in the Colorectal Cancer Alliance’s Dress In Blue Day, an initiative to raise awareness of colorectal cancer and honor those affected by the disease. Colorectal cancer is the second-deadliest cancer in the U.S. and affects about 1.4 million people. About 10% of colorectal cancer cases are diagnosed in adults under 50. Join us in raising awareness of colorectal cancer and talk to your doctor about risk factors.

Patient Alliances

Patient Alliances

Within our Patient Alliances organization, we strive to understand the patient journey from diagnosis through treatment, incorporating the patient experience into the fabric of the company. We do this by actively engaging with patient advocacy organizations throughout clinical development and post-product launch to ensure we understand patient and caregiver perspectives and insights in the pursuit of advancing care. Additionally, Taiho provides funding support for patient and caregiver programs, initiatives, education and research.

SUPPORTING THE COLORECTAL CANCER COMMUNITY

United In Blue

During Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, Taiho Oncology is United In Blue with Fight Colorectal Cancer (CRC). Every March, Fight CRC plants 27,400 blue flags across the National Mall in D.C. Each flag represents an individual under the age of 50 projected to be diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2030. To help amplify this initiative, we installed blue flags at our Princeton, New Jersey, and Pleasanton, California offices. We stand with the colorectal cancer community in our commitment to advancing care for those impacted by colorectal cancer and to improving the lives of patients, their families and their caregivers.
